About the community information sessions

Join us for some light refreshments and:

• meet the builder
• chat to us about what's being delivered
• see the latest designs
• find out what's coming up on-site
• enjoy interactive kids' activities
• ask us questions.

Representatives from the Victorian Health Building Authority and Barwon Health will be available to answer questions.

Families can also enjoy interactive children's workshops with Dr. Lorien Parker (Dr Loz) from SciencePlay Kids.

About the Barwon Women’s and Children’s

The Victorian Government has committed more than $500 million to deliver new and expanded women’s and children’s facilities in Geelong.

The new Barwon Women’s and Children’s will provide more women’s (including maternity) and children’s health facilities and deliver additional capacity to ensure families in Geelong and surrounding communities can continue to access the very best care, close to home.

The Barwon Women's and Children's will be built within the University Hospital Geelong precinct and will provide a new children’s inpatient unit, new neonatal and parent care unit, specialist (outpatient) clinics and more operating theatres.
