Melton Health and Community Services health hub

The $21 million Melton Health and Community Services health hub was completed in September 2018. It was designed to provide Melton communities with increased access to health, well-being and community services.

The hub has brought together services from Djerriwarrh Health Services, Melbourne Health-Midwest Area Mental Health Service, MacKillop Family Services, cohealth and Odyssey House Victoria. 

These organisations can now work together to deliver a broad range of services, such as women’s, children’s and family services, Aboriginal health, chronic disease prevention and early intervention, mental health and alcohol and drug services. 

Melton residents can now access high quality community health, mental health and family services – in one place.

Scope

The Melton Health and Community Services health hub delivered a new purpose-built centre including:

private and group consulting rooms
a gym
training and assessment area
kitchen
therapy garden
staff work areas
and a mental health tribunal room.

Melton families can now access women’s health services, children’s health services and family services, Aboriginal health services, chronic disease intervention and prevention, and mental health, drug and alcohol support from some of Victoria’s very best health service providers including Djerriwarrh Health Services, Melbourne Health-Midwest Area Mental Health Service, MacKillop Family Services, Cohealth and Odyssey House Victoria.
