Benefits

Increased capacity
Providing an alternative to hospital-based care, this new purpose-built 12-bed centre will improve access to mental health services for children up to 11 years of age.

Specialised care and support
Children and families will receive flexible, family-centred therapy and support from child and family mental health specialists in a safe, therapeutic and ‘home like’ environment
Design
The facility's exteriors, grounds and internal fit-outs have been carefully considered. Creating a safe, welcoming and healing atmosphere for children and their families on their mental health journey.
Jobs for Victorians
The project created and sustained approximately 21 construction industry jobs.
