Fourth tower crane arrives on Frankston site
The fourth and final tower crane at the $1.1 billion Frankston Hospital redevelopment site is now in operation.
Construction to deliver the bigger and better hospital is progressing well. We have made significant progress on the site, including:
- earthworks completed
- in-ground basement services completed
- eight basement concrete slabs poured for the new clinical services tower
- five suspended concrete slabs poured for new multi-deck carpark
- construction of core structures underway (cores are major vertical structural elements, such as a staircase or lift shaft).
See how construction is progressing in this video.
