A modern facility for regional care

The upgraded facility includes:

  • a new operating theatre
  • two pre-operative treatment spaces
  • six recovery bays
  • dedicated sterilisation and storage areas
  • a modern entrance and reception

By bringing all surgical services under one roof, the new space will improve patient flow, support staff and reduce the need for patients to travel long distances for care.

Yarrawonga Health provides a range of planned procedures including general surgery, orthopaedics, endoscopy and urology – and plays an important role in easing pressure on regional surgical waitlists.

Staff and patients began using the new space for surgical care in August 2025.
