Ageing well in Mansfield with new residential facility

Works are complete on the new Mansfield aged care facility, delivering modern, welcoming spaces for older locals as part of a $62.8 million investment.

Operated by Mansfield District Hospital, residents will enjoy:

30 new modern single rooms (replacing Buckland House), each with their own ensuites, grouped into small households with shared kitchen, lounge and dining areas
upgraded rooms and facilities at the existing, co-located Bindaree Retirement Centre (works now underway).

More than 660 construction jobs have contributed to the project so far, including the use of local contractors.
