Construction is officially underway on the new Clyde North ambulance branch.
The new 24-hour ambulance branch will be located on Matterhorn Drive. This location will allow ease of access to main roads and major sites including schools, shopping precincts and community facilities.
The state-of-the art ambulance branch will feature:
a four-bay ambulance garage
four rest and recline areas
fully equipped kitchen
training facilities
secure on-site parking for staff.
The branch is being built by Bowden Corporation and is on track to be completed by the end of the year.

The Victorian Government has committed around $249 million since 2015-16 to upgrade and rebuild ambulance stations. This investment provides better working conditions for paramedics and ensures lifesaving emergency care is available for all Victorians.
