New ambulance branches on the way for Moe and Warragul
We're boosting ambulance resources in Moe and Warragul, giving paramedics the facilities and support they need to quickly respond to local emergencies.
May Constructions has been appointed to build new ambulance branches in Moe and Warragul, with construction expected to start in July 2021.
The new Moe ambulance branch will be located in Narracan Drive, Moe, and includes a five-bay garage and four bedrooms.
The new Warragul ambulance branch will be located in Burke Street, Warragul and includes a four-bay garage and four bedrooms.
Both branches will include:
- training facilities
- bedrooms for rest and recuperation
- a fully equipped kitchen
- improved security and car parking to make sure paramedics are safe.
Ambulance Victoria development program
The Victorian Government has committed around $249 million since 2015-16 to upgrade and rebuild ambulance stations. This investment provides better working conditions for paramedics and ensure lifesaving emergency care is available for all Victorians.
