We’re calling on community members from Melbourne’s western suburbs to take part in a new Footscray Hospital photography competition.
Selected images will be part of an exhibition and displayed digitally when the new hospital opens.
The competition’s theme ‘of place: connections to nature and wellbeing’ invite entries that show the natural elements found in the western suburbs, and photographs that will bring calm to patients and visitors.
The photography competition is part of several art displays within the hospital, which are designed to make the new hospital feel calm, welcoming, and connected to the places and cultures that are important to our community.
Footscray Community Arts, the official arts partner for the new Footscray Hospital, is running the competition.
