New ambulance branches on the way for Taylors Lakes and Melton
We're boosting ambulance resources in Taylors Lakes and Melton, giving paramedics the facilities and support they need to quickly respond to local emergencies.
Both branches are located near main roads and major sites including schools, shopping precincts and community facilities. The new facilities will include:
- a four-bay garage
- four rest and recline areas
- training facilities
- a fully equipped kitchen
- improved security and car parking.
Taylors Lakes
May Constructions has been appointed to construct the new Taylors Lakes branch, located on Kings Road, Taylors Lakes. Construction is now underway.

Melton
The new Melton branch will be located on High Street, Melton. Bowden Corporation has been appointed to construct the new ambulance branch.

Ambulance Victoria development program
The Victorian Government has committed around $249 million since 2015-16 to upgrade and rebuild ambulance stations. This investment provides better working conditions for paramedics and ensures lifesaving emergency care is available for all Victorians.
