• refurbishment of support areas.

Improved access to services

The Westside Lodge dual diagnosis unit expansion added 10 beds to the much-needed service, increasing access to treatment and reducing waiting lists. This improves outcomes, as longer delays before admission to treatment are associated with increased dropout rates during treatment.

Relieving pressure on the system

New residential rehabilitation beds help meet increased demand for services and relieve pressure on other health services.

Construction jobs

At the peak of construction, the redevelopment created around 28 construction industry jobs.
