The $6 million Grampians alcohol and other drug treatment facility project was completed in February 2019. The facility provides residential rehabilitation services to approximately 80 people a year.

Based in Eureka, Ballarat, this 20-bed facility provides residential rehabilitation services to approximately 80 people a year.

Eastern Health Breast and Cancer Centre

The $10 million Eastern Health Breast and Cancer Centre opened in May 2018.

It aimed to support Eastern Health to improve access to services and treatment for women at risk of, or undergoing treatment for, breast cancer. This project provided a purpose-built facility that could bring together breast screening, breast cancer treatment and supportive care services. 

Echuca Cancer and Wellness Centre

The $8.3 million Echuca Cancer and Wellness Centre has delivered a new chemotherapy/haemodialysis unit at Echuca Regional Health.

The project relocated Echuca Regional Health’s existing chemotherapy/haemodialysis unit to a new purpose-built cancer and wellness centre.

The new centre provides 12 new chemotherapy/haemodialysis treatment chairs and improves the comfort and access for patients, whilst providing a more efficient working environment for staff.

The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital redevelopment

The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital redevelopment upgraded the infrastructure of the largest public provider of ophthalmology and ear, nose and throat services in Victoria.

The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital (Eye and Ear) is Australia’s only specialist eye and ear, nose and throat (ENT) hospital. It sees nearly 220,000 patients per year, including over 40,000 emergency attendances.

Latrobe Regional Hospital - Stage 2

The $73 million Latrobe Regional Hospital Stage 2 expansion was completed in August 2017. 

The project was designed to improve access to efficient, high quality healthcare services that the Gippsland community can access close to home. It also aimed to encourage health care professionals to live and work in the region.  

Ballarat Health Services cardiac catheterisation laboratory

The $10 million Ballarat Health Services cardiac catheterisation laboratory project at Ballarat Base Hospital was completed in August 2017.

It is designed to support more people in western Victoria to access urgent heart assessment, treatment and care – closer to home. 

Cardiac catheterisation laboratories are used for lifesaving heart procedures such as stenting, angiography, inserting pacemakers and implantable defibrillators.

Healesville Hospital and Yarra Valley Health

The $8.8 million redevelopment and expansion of the Healesville Hospital and Yarra Valley Health included a new operating theatre, a redeveloped community health centre and the introduction of renal dialysis, resulting in a 30 per cent increase in services provided from the site.

The redevelopment consolidated existing and new services into a single integrated medical centre. A new entry and foyer between the two existing buildings allows for a single point of arrival and reception and brings hospital and community health services together under one roof.
